Slow Cook Chicken Thighs
Chicken thighs – 4 no
Soy sauce – 1/2 cup
Tomato ketchup – 1/2 cup
Sriracha sauce – 1/4 cup
Honey – 1/4 cup
Chopped Garlic – 10 cloves
Ginger – 1 pc
Chopped Red Chili
Chopped Coriander leaves
1.Take a wide saucepan. Pour enough extra virgin olive oil into it.
2.Place the chicken thighs (with skin) in the pan.
3.Sear on each side for 3 minutes. Season it with salt and pepper on both sides.
4.For Sauce. Whisk 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/2 cup of tomato ketchup, 1/4 cup of sriracha sauce, 1/4 cup of honey, 10 cloves of chopped garlic and 1 chopped ginger together in a bowl and pour it over the chicken. Let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
5.Transfer chicken thighs into the pressure cooker and pour the sauce over it.
6.Add 1/4 cup of water into the pressure cooker and slow cook it for 30 to 40 minutes on low flame.
7.Garnish it with chopped red chili and coriander leaves.
Christmas special slow-cooked chicken thighs are ready to be served.
