New Delhi, Mar 26 (ANI): After the Cambridge Analytica scandal captured attention of many, social networking site Facebook’s users have found that the site holds far more information about them than they expect after many of them deleting their accounts. Facebook holds data of complete logs of incoming and outgoing calls and SMS messages. A movement started to save personal information, called #deletefacebook, after it was known that Facebook had shared with a Cambridge psychologist the personal information of 50 million users, without their explicit consent, which later ended up in the hands of the election consultancy Cambridge Analytica. The social networking giant has made it difficult for users to delete their accounts, which eventually leaves all personal data on the company's servers.
