In 1972, a plane carrying an Uruguayan rugby team to an away match in Chile crashed in the Andes. 16 of the young men on board managed to survive in the mountains for 72 days, at sub zero temperatures and with very little food, before two of them walked miles to get help. The case gained international notoriety when the survivors admitted they had eaten their friends bodies to stay alive but now, 40 years on, they hope to tell their side of the story with a new exhibition in Montevideo.
